Job description
The IBM Security Operations Center (SOC) is a 24x7 operations group, focused on delivering world class managed security services to clients spread all over the world. The Security Analysts/Escalation Engineers are individual contributors responsible for providing complex IT security services to clients within the IBM Managed Security Services organization. As a member of a team, or working independently, they perform an analytical and technical role in the design, development, implementation, integration, and delivery of technical IT security solutions for clients. They perform multiple assigned technical tasks including research, analysis, solution design, development, product installation, system integration, and complex issue root cause analysis of managed security solutions. This position also serves as an escalation points for the SOC, so a higher than fundamental level of understanding of supported technologies is required. These individuals are problem solvers, mentors, and relied heavily upon by management to care the customer.
